Be Prepared

The Boy Scouts of America taught me patriotism, leadership and service to others. As a Boy Scout, I earned Citizenship in the Country; today, I proudly fly the American flag on our 20′ pole and I thank veterans for their service. As a Boy Scout, I held most troop leadership roles; in December 2019, I retired after 35 years of employment, most in supervision, management, and director roles. As a Boy Scout, my Eagle project was recruiting blood donors to the American Red Cross; today, I have given 223 units of whole blood and volunteer on an ARC Diaster Response Team. I owe a life of love for our country, leadership and service, to the organization and to the men and women who volunteered for The Boy Scouts of America.
