Scouting set the tone for my future life

Scouting taught me personal values of faith and integrity, breadth of interest, and the satisfaction of achievement. Perhaps more significant, it taught me the importance of belonging to a group and leadership skills. I credit Scouting with changing my young life for the better and for setting the tone for my future life. I am now in my 80s and have been fortunate to achieve much in life. I credit Scouting for a major share in helping me accomplish this. It is a unique organization and must be preserved for the good of our nation.
