Why scouting matters

When I was a little guy I was fascinated with scouting. I took my scout book with me and went looking for edible things to eat and animal tracks. As I grew older I earned my Eagle rank and was the only one of my brothers who earned that rank. I worked with our two sons and went on lots of scout campouts and I feel scouting helped me to raise our boys into men. I’m grateful for the scout oath, law, slogan and motto. The leadership principles also helped me in my personal life. Scouting is awesome. Thank you.
